State Rally 2019 is the biggest, annual state-wide Scout event in the NSW Scout calendar. This event is open to ALL Scouts in NSW. The event is run by the State Mindari Team and the State Commissioner, Scouts.
The theme for 2019 will be "Think Outside the Box", as chosen by your NSW State Scout Youth Council. Each Regional Activity Centre (RAC) will have its own theme, and you’re encouraged to come along in costume for a sensational weekend of imagination, inspiration and innovation.
Our RAC themes this year are inspired by Scouting around the world - Gilwell Park, Kandersteg and Summit Bechtel.
State Rally 2019, will be held at Cataract Scout Park, Baden Powell Drive Appin.

NSW State Rally is an annual event held in August. State Rally is focused on giving the attendees a memorable experience that is fun, challenging and embraces the Scout Method.
State Rally is a light weight competition camp. The event provides activities that are:
ChallengingAre Award Scheme/Achievement Pathway focusedPatrol System based
Participants will achieve points by completing fun filled activities for their Patrol. Activities are 30-40 minutes in duration, and may have multiple stages. Patrol Leaders will also be scored on their Leadership capabilities.
Our Leaders are challenged to provide opportunities to Lead, Assist and Participate in their activities, offering development for all Scouts depending on what stage they are at in the Award Scheme/Achievement Pathways. All activities incorporate Plan>Do>Review>.
The three RACs administer activities spread across Cataract Scout Park. Each activity is provided by Leaders with support from Venturers, Rovers and other adult helpers.
All Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders and Adult Helpers are accommodated across the three sleeping RACs that are supported by welfare and Leader supervision.
State Rally provides an opportunity for Scouts and Leaders explore new ideas, meet new people and most of all have a fun and memorable experience.
Scout / Guide
Must be registered as a Scout in Scouts Australia NSW or a member of Guides NSW & ACT at the time of application and through till 4th August 2019Have approval from their Scout or Guide Unit CouncilHave consent from their parents/guardian
Must be registered as a Venturer in Scouts Australia NSW or a member of Guides NSW & ACT at the time of application and through till 4th August 2019Be willing to be part of support team for State RallyHave consent from their parents/guardian
Leader / Rover / Other Adult
Must be registered as a Rover, Leader or Adult Helper in Scouts Australia NSW or Guides NSW & ACT at the time of application and through till 4th August 2019 including holding a valid Working With Children Check.
The Rally Registration Cost is the same for all Participants (Youth and Adult). This fee is $40.
This fee includes the cost of infrastructure to support the event including drinking water and toilets. Patrols are required to supply their own food and personal equipment at their own cost.
+ Venturers / Rovers / Leaders / Adults have the option of purchasing a catering package for an additional $35.00
