1st / 2nd Harbord Scouts Be Prepared!

All Scout Hike attendees, remember you must bring your packed (& corrected from last week) rucksack with you this Thursday night.

NOTHING missing this time!
There will be NO unattached bits & pieces.
You will have a plastic bag liner in your pack
You will have things that must be kept dry in a separate plastic bag (eg thermals & spare clothing).
The only item strapped to the outside of your pack will be your sleeping matt (only if necessary), double bagged.
You will each have an emergency blanket.
All above as discussed last week both verbally & by email.
On entering the hall, place you packs NEATLY this time around the perimeter of the hall.
You will be weighed again with your packs to ensure no one has overly heavy packs.
Your ScoutHike Patrol Leaders will have non perishable food ready to distribute, & will also split tent components up & distribute them accordingly.
You will take your packs home & they will be ready for the exciting upcoming weekend in the Southern Highlands.
Parents - you should have received an email from your scout's ScoutHike Patrol leader stating the departure times, patrol number, & bus number.
Plus info on how to find out pick up times on Sunday.
If you haven't received this info, consult the PL in question or me.

Everyone else - scouts as per usual, however please be patient on the night as things will no doubt be very chaotic with over 1/2 the troop organising themselves for the weekend.
