Each scout needs to come wearing their swimming costume and dressed a long sleeved top and long pants or 3/4 pants/leggings etc (for our swim/survival task)
Scout book (We will be doing some badge work)

Swimming cap (optional) If not wearing a cap, girls please tie back your hair, so you can swim properly
Please bring form and money to Cubs on Wednesday 8th Feb.
Course starts at 8.30am at Jamieson park Narrabeen.

Next Thursday 1st March we will be having the river crossing night. It is at a different area of Narabeen Lakes than last time. I have attached the
A1 form and a map. Please note the start and finish points.
You MUST bring the signed permission form. No form, no activity, no exceptions.
Please read the instructions on the A1 form regarding what to bring and also wear in the water. This is important.
For those Scouts who can't swim very well, we will be bringing some pfd's.
This is a fun night with other Scouts from our district.

On Thursday 1st March we will be attending the river crossing activity. It is a different spot on Narrabeen Lakes
at the park at the end of Wimbledon Ave Narrabeen (This runs off The Wakehurst Parkway) 6.30 pm . The Finish & pickup point will be Middle Creek Reserve at the western end of the lake at 9pm. I suggest parents come a bit earlier than this.
Plenty of parking at both spots
The scouts will have 2-3 swims where they cannot touch the bottom.
The maximum swim is about 40 mtrs and the shortest swim is about 20 mtrs

Conservation camp Runs from Friday night to Sunday after noon.
At the end of this camp, Cubs will have earned their Environment Badge and the red animal and birds badge
They will go to Featherdale zoo on the Sunday.
Plus a camp blanket badge.
This camp is open to all cubs if they havent already been to this camp.
